All four sides of the base, as well as the corner volutes, are perforated. The station's slim body is covered in glass surfaces that protect the measuring instruments. At the corners of the station one can see thin columns with profiled bases and capitals carrying a richly decorated upper part with the roof decorated with masks, rosettes, dragons and a weathervane.
All four sides of the station are completely identical.
The weather station in Varaždin, located next to the Alojzija Stepinca Street and Vatroslava Jagića promenade, was built in 1909. It is put up on the octogonal base with three steps.
